So I attended the International Doctoral Education and Research Network last April. As a postgraduate student, it is important for me to attend seminars just to gain more knowledge, share my ideas and most importantly, find new connections or ‘networking’.
The seminar was great!!i never attended anything like this before. As a student participant, I had to spend a whole day in the hall to hear lectures from academicians that came from around the world. I mean, wasn’t that awesome? It was a great opportunity to meet some of the world class professors and being able to share thoughts and opinions- it was priceless! I hope to go to such seminars again in the future.
