a great weekend

i had a great weekend. i just love how it started and definitely how it ended :D on the sunny saturday, me, ashraf and little imran went to ashraf's former school, mrsm kuala klawang, negeri sembilan. there was a mini get together or reunion for former students and teachers; organised by the school. although it was a short, unplanned trip, i was happy because i got to go to mrsm kk. i've been missing teaching in mrsm lately, so, a chance to go visit one excited me. the journey to mrsm kk was not that bad. i enjoyed the scenic view despite feeling sick due to winding roads and occasional sharp turns. T_T imran, on the other hand, seemed happy along the trip. good boy! unlike me, he managed to keep a smily face and i was lucky he didn't poo poo in the car. hehe :D

i noticed that there were not many cars at the dewan selera (it was around 11ish once we got there) and it looked like there was no celebration at all. hmm? peliknye. so ashraf decided to take me on a mini tour around the school compound. he proudly showed me his former classroom, hostel, where he used to play in the evening etc, etc.. :) he looked like a kid in a candy shop, pointing out every single thing there (just that he couldn't buy them)..my husband is a funny man. and we went to the principal's house too! the current pengetua of mrsm kk is cikgu shahrome, who used to be my homeroom teacher (he was one of the reason i wanted to go on this visit in the first place). he used to be the vice principal-academic when i first started working in mrsm taiping (so in a way, he used to be my boss too). but luck was not on our side. cikgu shahrome went to mrsm trolak that day. oh well. xdapat la jumpe cikgu.

so we went back to dewan selera. again, i noticed there not many people there yet. they told me that the event would only start at 2pm..ooo..i was early rupenye..;p oklah, ashraf and i could not stay for long because ashraf had things to do in ukm. before we left, we met ashraf's science teacher, cikgu noreha. she still remembers my husband. hebat betul cikgu ni. i'm impressed! ashraf took the opportunity to talk a.k.a motivate the students. my husband is a great speaker. you can just put him in any situation, he would definitely have a bunch of things to say..hebat2..after a short talk, we excused ourselves and went straight back home.

on a happy note, imran has learned to pick his own food and eat it :D i know i was a bit late introducing finger foods to him but i'm glad he does so quite well. yeay! and he now knows to sit still on a bangku kecik while waiting for me to finish cooking. i can no longer carry him around like i used to since he's getting heavier :p but i don't have the heart to see him sitting on the kitchen floor waiting to play with me either. the best way is to put him on the bangku kecik and alhamdulillah, he would wait for his ibu. heheh :D alhamdulillah, it's easy to train him nowadays. sunday. ashraf still had to go to ukm. so i was left with imran and kak ros at home. bencinye. not that i don't enjoy their company, it's just that i don't like the fact that he's not at home on weekend. T_T ok so i spend my day playing with imran, cleaning and disassembled imran's old walker and put it in its box and watched kimora's reality series all day long. boring!! i helped kak ros with gardening and bakar sampah sikit. surprisingly, it made me feel better! we managed to clean the area around the house coz imran was sleeping :D but ashraf went back quite early so we had some time to take imran out (imran is sensitive to bunyi enjin kereta, especially kalau abah die punye kereta. dia akan cepat2 bangun tido).after maghrib. ashraf asked me 'nak tgk budak setan tak malam ni?'.of course i nak!!aku pun cepat2 siap and we went to alamanda. it was the movie that we BOTH wanted to watch for quite some times, but we didn't have the time to go to the cinema. the movie started at 10pm so we had time to jalan-jalan cari makan. oh btw, kami dapat tiket yang agak dihadapan, jadinye agak sakit tengkuk sebab terpakse mendongak. ;p but it was worth it. the movie was great. kalau boleh di rating, aku akan bagi 4 per 5. farid kamil-oh hensemnye kau dalam cite ni. lisa surihani- i think i'm starting to like you! and most importantly, ade fazura. best2! haisshhh...cantik betul perempuan ini..que haidar-kau memang saiko!hahaha :p ape2pun, the storyline was ok, but what i liked most was the photography techniques used in the movie. kebanyakan shot die mmg cantik...tahniah!

personally, bagi sesiapa yang dah baca novel ahadiat akashah-budak setan (the series) mungkin akan berase bace novel lagi sedap. sbbnye, the storyline is simplified in the movie. penonton xdapat feel karakter shah and ayu mcm dalam novel. and watak kat pun sikit je. mungkin nak compact kan kot..ntah laa..tapi kalau xde mase nak bace novel, tgk crite ni pun ok jugaklaa..so we went straight back home coz it was almost midnight and unlike ashraf, i x amik cuti hari isnin..so that was how i spent my weekend...puas ati aku :D
