working for 1 and a half year in taiping, i did make some friends. these people kept me going when i was at my worst, and they were always there when things were looking good too!i guess being a teacher means you can't simply m.i.a, considering you only have 7 days of annual leave.hehe =D shown here are pictures of my friends, syidi - the one who sat beside me in office. my sort of neighbour. he was the one who constantly reminding me of my bad eating habit, bad posture, wrong pronunciation (preface, preface =p) and such. but he was also the artist whom willingly sketch pictures of me and other teachers (but sometimes his work of art was quite controversial.heheh)nevertheless, he IS a good friend. (IS --- syidi, i still consider u as a friend!) the two lovely ladies in the other picture are kak yana and kak bita. i love them to bits! they were sooo nice to me during my time in taiping. they were also the 'tempat rujukan' for me whenever i feel like asking questions about pregnancies and etc.
this is a picture of me and my beloved teacher, cikgu abrar. he was also my head of department (the language department) a.k.a my boss. i was once his student back in 2000, when i was in form 5. i would say that he hasn't changed that much. he is still a humorous guy, likes to chit chat and just makes you laugh. he's nice. i love him too.

February & March 2009
my husband was worried of my safety in perak because back then i was staying alone in kamunting. so he went through all the hassle to have me transferred to k.l. he went to MARA office like every single day just to meet with the porsonel who was in charge in 'urusan perpindahan'. at first, the idea of being close to family made me feel excited, but as days to transfer to K.L was getting nearer, i somehow wasn't sure to leave taiping =( but i believe it was fated. i felt really sad to leave taiping but at the same time, i was eager to be closer to my family.

2nd february 2009-this was the day i started working in malaysia-japan industrial institute. it was formerly known as kolej kemahiran tinggi beranang. i am still teaching english, but i would say that it is a whole different experience teaching diploma level students. it wasn't much of a challenge (for me) compared to teaching MRSM students. huhuh. but i am still thankful that my students now are not that many (considering i have to read their journals, work and pursue my studies at the same time). so i guess it is a blessing in disguise. alhamdulillah.
