April is now officially my favourite time of the year. =) On 10th April, i delivered my first son, Imran at Hospital Putrajaya. Being a mom made me realise that I am capable of loving other people (apart from myself. hehe) sooo much. Of course, i do love my husband, but the love for your own child is very much different! I guess this is what they call 'naluri keibuan'. hehe
Imran at day 1 - resting in hospital's baby cot. he looked so calm and peaceful. i can't get bored looking at him. =) ashraf has been a great husband and dad. he would wake up in the night to help change imran's diaper before i feed the baby. he likes to stare imran when he is sleeping like i do!

Being a working mother is definitely a challenge! i began to realise this on the first day I started working after confinement. but life was not that bad. i hired a maid to help taking care of imran and house chores. i would do the cooking since my husband likes to eat home cooked meals =)Apart from being a busy bee, i also tried hard to lose the excess weight. i gained 18kilos during pregnancy and now i still need to shed off another 5kilos. hehe. but i'm trying to find ways to lose weight the right way. the right way for me means i dont have to suppress the hunger and appetite. =)
Our 1st anniversary. it has been a year already! i just can't believe how quickly time flies. =D being a wife and a mother has really changed me inside out. i now enjoy my roles even more =D we have been together through thick and thin and alhamdulillah, our love and relationship are getting stronger. looking back, there were so many things happened in the first year of our marriage. some of them were good and some of them were not. i try hard to forget those bad memories. =p oh ya, for our anniversary dinner, ashraf took me out to hotel equatorial bangi and we had a lovely time together. we ate so many kinds of foods (there goes my diet plan. huhuh) and by 9.45 pm we were so full we just sat there and not doing anything. funny how a full stomach could do to a person eh. but anyway, we managed to hold ourselves back from eating ALL the foods. haha. it was a lovely dinner though. coz i got to eat foods that i like. =D

My confinement days were over and i started working on 9th June. i hated the feeling of leaving imran back home. i tried hard not to cry before leaving for work and alhamdulillah..there were no tears =D maybe it was the hormone thing?!
July 2009
We celebrated my birthday this year at Sabah! =D My parents, nazmi, ashraf, me and little imran went to Sabah to attend our cousin's wedding ceremony. The trip was sponsored by my brother, nazmi. Not only that, abah was so generous to pay for the hotel (we stayed in kota kinabalu). So ashraf and i were in charge to pay for the rental car. hehe. =) The wedding ceremony was held in sipitang (if i'm not mistaken) and the journey to go there was amazing. i enjoyed time spent on the road and i think imran did too! he was so excited to look around and spend the time in car just smiling, giggling and not once did he cry! i was so relieved. whewwww!!
